Great weekend for the girls who were invited to compete in the "G Factor" young talent competition at the Galtres Festival in North Yorkshire. Playing in the little top tent here they only managed to win it...
... with their prize being to open the Main Stage on Sunday Morning... so technically they can now say they have opened for the Human League - who were headlining that evening.
The girls wrote a new song for the competition: "Blame" is one of their first tunes of their own and will hopefully stay in the set from now on... here's the audio recording on soundcloud:

Lucy and Jo are 15 year old school friends who share a love for music. They started playing together 4 years ago and now have a set of around 20 songs - with the handy knack of being able to learn pretty much any tune you might want to hear...
The girls now play regularly in the Harrogate, York & Leeds areas. They are now regularly playing parties, theatres, open mic slots - and this summer have moved up a notch winning teh G-Factor competition and playing the Main Stage at Galtres Festival in North Yorkshire.
Here's a reminder of one of the highlights from 2012, when the girls came runners up in the Harrogate's Got Talent contest in front of 500 people in the Theatre Royal in Harrogate.
